On November 19, 2019; the outgoing US Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Deborah Malac, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Bart M. Katureebe, at his Chambers at the High Court Building in Kampala, for the purpose of bidding him farewell.

Ambassador Malac, who was flanked by her Deputy, H.E Christopher Krafft, is set to leave Uganda in January 2020 for another assignment.

The Hon.Chief Justice expressed his appreciation to the outgoing Ambassador for the good working relationship and for her relentless advocacy for human rights, the rule of law and the plight of the vulnerable.

H.E Malac equally appreciated the Chief Justice for his availability to attend to pertinent issues whenever they arose.

She indicated that she had had a wonderful working relationship with the Chief Justice, the Judiciary and the JLOS Sector generally.
